I am not good enough to compete, but I think it is a great idea.  So I will donate some prizes, like the "Raptor Maw" Sea Dragon #226 and the "Flying Dutchman" boat #300.  Just to name a few.

RedSkullz I will contact you directly with a more complete list.

Good luck everyone. B)

Is this 'designed' to be 'one-off' fully 3D stuff or are you looking for something printable (terrain that everyone could then download and use).

I'm sure I could whip up a neat looking printable one by then but no time to even think about building a 3D version.

Cheers!

Hey Ibson!
This contest is geared toward a full on 3d map, but i am sure there would be a whack of pirates players that would love to get a printable ocean to use with their pirates games.

Consider it on my short list of things to do. A 3'x3' printable ocean (maybe bigger with some variety from area to area) and then some islands (maybe 12 or so). It's been a while since I played, how many island types are represented by pieces these days and how many would be useful.

Cheers!

YEAH AARDVARK!! Those prize contributions are much appreciated!! Sent you a pm.
Ibson-i have to agree with aardvark on having the islands not built into the ocean itself. Seperate islands and especially fog banks, iceburgs + whirlpools would be sweet.
Wizkids only ever released one ocean map (which is too small). There was a Galeforce9 vinyl map that could be purchased, but they are very scarce and expensive now.

I was already planning the extra bits as seperate for re-configurable uses. Islands (8 or so varieties), fog banks (say 2 different ones), iceburgs (4 or so), and whirlpools(2 different)...anything else on the wish lists? Should I put forts or something on one or tow of the islands?
