I know this is an old post, but whatever came of this project? I thought of another token: the master adversary, from the Heroic Quests line.

Been a while since I played so I can't remember the exact name but my favorite are the Slag Trolls; the four armed guys. I think they're called Slag Trolls. The LE was named Slobber.

I've been looking at this game for awhile now, but it's priced over my budget right now. When it drops to $20 or I can find a used copy for $20, I'm going to pick it up.

Also, I just finished a marathon of Assassin's Creed 1 and 2; loved them. Played both of them start to finish.  Again, I plan to but Brotherhood when the price drops.

To be honest I don't know. It sounds to me you got the original also. I'll have to dig out my Blackthorn and check it.

Did you get the Nexus versions or the original?

That is absolutely beautiful. I think I may have to spring for this set.

Mageknight / Re: Necropolis chariot ever released ?

Was there ever any details or pictures of it released? Any stats? I bet we could get a hold of a couple of chariots and make a custom. Pull the ram off the Atlantean chariot; mod some reapers, like four horses; glue skulls on it and some other Necropolis-like stuff. That sounds pretty cool.

Lord of the Rings / Re: Middle Earth Quest board game

I got my copy of the game yesterday and WOW, it's big... and complicated. I'm going to have to read the instructions several times to understand it. This is my first FFG game. It is quite involved, I knew it would be but again, WOW. The quality of the game is outstanding: the board is firm, the cards have a textured water resistant coating, and the various chits are made of the same cardboard as the game board itself. Looking forward to play it.

I applied for the Beta also... I don't know how their system will work but if you get on, post which server and name you use.

I will do that. From what I've read there will be no levels. And if I understand right, we can use any weapon and the more we use it the better we will get with it. It seems similar to Star Wars Galaxies pre-combat upgrade. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm currently signed up for a month of WoW right now but I don't think I'll continue with it. It's the same old endless level grind of all the other MMO's I've played: Ever Quest, Star Wars Galaxies, LotR Online, Anarchy Online, and D&D Online. And there is an awful lot of young immature players on WoW that I just can't tolerate. They can't tank, they can't focus on a quest, they can't play their role be it magic user or healer. It drives me crazy. Having said that, FunCom is releasing a new MMO called The Secret World: sort of a Davinci Code meets the Freemasons with a little Cthulhu thrown in. I'm signed up for beta. Even if I don't get beta, I think I"ll still give this one a try.

I know this is an old post, but I just got the game myself. I am enjoying it, except I'm stuck at the Centaurs. I know what to do, I just can't get myself to do it right. I'll try to work through it for an hour or so then I have to quit for awhile out of frustration.

Mageknight Dungeons / Re: Delta's Custom MK Mini WIPs 2 - Magus Olorin
« on: September 14, 2009, 12:41:53 AM »
Wow, he looks terrific. What mini is he from? I'm by no way an expert custom hero creator but I do know the pre-made heroes pretty good and he seems over costed for his power. Also, most heroes I have experience with all have only one set of skulls and I've never had much luck with heroes with Charge and Bound. You may want to think of giving him Quickness.

On a side note, both Raydan Marz and Blackthorn were made for the Nexus series. We could always get a hold of the figure and make a custom. The stats are known.

I was able to get a hold of a Black Thorn but not a Raydan Marz. I too did the blank sticker thingie. Also, when I was a Warlord, I received a Dungeon demo kit from Wiz Kids. It had a a dozen or so Heroes, 15 to 18 Mage Spawn, several maps, and multiple accessories with it. Those Heroes didn't have stickers either and I had to use blank stickers for them also.
