Mageknight Dungeons / New form of 3D MKD terrain

I'm sure this kickstarter will be over before anyone sees this.

I've just backed this for the full set of Jigs.  I'm going to use it for Wargames and possibly GURPS although the macro hex size is off a bit for GURPS.  However as each tile is 100 mm you can make an interior hex of 50mm which is perfect for MKD.  Maybe a bit large but it would still work.  See attached picture.

It is safe to say Tom and I will be continuing our arrangement for some time.  Nice guy.  I'm working on the Lunar Outposts I designed.

I'm here rarely.  Half the time it's because I can't remember my passwords.  The other half is because life sucks.  I'm trying raise over £10,000 for my indefinite leave to remain.  Just a year and a half ago it was only £200 per person, now it is £1,875 (multiplied by six).  My level of stress has been through the roof.  I have barley done anything hobby related and I've been volunteering for as much overtime as I can sometimes working 70 hours in a single seven day period.  Then after the fees for just getting the ILR (indefinite leave to remain), I have to shell out £50.00 per test, then for biometrics, new Visas, etc. etc. etc.

I've been living in the UK for ten years, it's the only place my children know and the States has changed so much in a decade that I really don't want to move back to it.

If you know any Right wing conservatives that would love to pay to keep a Left Wing Democrat Atheist who believes in Socialism out of the U.S. voting system permanently send them this link.

Warhammer 40K / What has happened to 40K

So games workshop is calling themselves a collector's company that just happens to print rules.  They are constantly selling limited edition terrain (that also have rules) that get bought up in a matter of hours from their release on their store and mostly by the same persons who then turn around and sell them for twice the cost on ebay.  Or a great set of vehicle that are exclusive to Warhammer World in Manchester.  That's right you have to go to Manchester UK to get them.  What used to take 5 to 6 years to get a new updated codex is happening every two years now, sometimes less. They have now increased their the base sizes of some of the miniatures to 32mm.

I think I would have a better feeling about these changes if they would ever bother keeping their fan base informed of what was happening.

Mageknight / Selling all my Paper Terrain
« on: March 07, 2015, 11:49:00 AM »
So when WWG pretty much gave the middle finger to it's fans and backstage developers I pretty much gave up on the hobby. So I'm selling it all! Nothing special about the prints, substandard. However every tile is mounted on 5mm PVC board. I've taken a 6 inch hall piece and placed over 13 kg on it and it hardly bends. There is probably around £200.00 worth of PVC pre cut TLX tiles for you guys. Don't like the prints? You can remove them without damaging these sturdy tiles. Pretty much I'm only charging for the tiles the rest comes with it free.

There are enough tiles and walls to make a heck of a lot of things here. I'd hate to throw it out. I can always salvage the PVC tiles as they are extremely durable.

I even have my converted Chunky Gothic Dungeons in 1.5" tiles with velcro on the bottom of the PVC tiles. Not sure how I'm going to sell these in one lot or several little ones. It's paper so your paying more for bulk shipping then weight. The PVC tiles only get heavy if there are hundreds of them.

So drop me an email Subject heading "Interested in Paper Models" john _ morrison _ 57006 (@) yahoo . com you know how to put it together.

It's too bad I wasn't doing this during the height of MKD!  I could have done some laser etched tiles

HyGround - 3D terrain Tiles look like they would be big enough for Mage Knight.

They have a KickStarter page as well.
