What was that one game called?

There was a table top miniature game that I wanted to hunt down awhile ago. It was a dungeon fantasy setting (as I recall) with plastic miniatures. I think it came out in the 80s. I remember that there were a bunch of fun looking expansions that only came out in Europe, making a full set of the game and expansion kind of rare. I think it was Hero something?

I just can't recall what the game was called!! Anyone have any idea what I'm trying to describe?

If you do, do you own it? Is it fun to play? I remember that it looked really cool but was a bit expensive.

Hero Quest and Dungeon Quest are the lines I believe you're thinking about. Try board game geek site to fins more info and maybe other suggestions as to what it might have been.

Mage quest was the project HP was trying to do to bring the concept to MKD.

yep, it was hero quest. it looks rather expensive to track down full sets. i'll have to do the research and try to figure out if its worth it.

If you pull all the game related info for BGG and other sites, you can actually build your own set for not too much I reckon, as long as you have a good color printer.

 I have several other the various sets from Heroquest, long ago stripped out and used with other games (the minis were always good for that) but I sure its possible to cobble together enough stuff to give a game a go if I wanted.

Give it a go if you want to try it out.
