Space Marine Armoury
« on: January 02, 2012, 01:05:04 AM »
I'm trying my hand at Bugbait's Space Marine Armoury.  Now the only thing I had on hand was some cardstock, pizza boxes and wooden skewers.  As I'm using pizza boxes and not 5mm foam board I had to make some alterations to the design.  I also made a very newbie mistake by forgetting to invert one of the sides so it's off centre.

I cut out the main building as one piece.  This makes it more solid.

It has taken me most of the day to make this and I will get some more done soon and update with pictures

I made the supports and made the relief wrap around like the antenna instead of separate pieces.

Now I need to wait for it to dry, add extra details then green stuff the edges of the cardboard.
