I picked up a great bit of terrain for my dungeons. Its the Civil War Birdge by Safari Ltd. The part number is 650604.

The piece is of very high quality. It works really well with mage knight. My only complaint is that the slope of the bridge makes it difficult to position a character on the left or right side. I think we will work it into a gaming session by making it take up 2 movement points to reach the other side and 1 just to stand in the center.

The bottom of the piece is held on by 6 screws. After opening it up I think I may have just enough space to pack in 2 LEDs and a small battery and switch. I'll need to cut away some of the plastic, but I think it will work. My idea is to illuminate the bottom of the bridge an eerie green or blue colored light.

I picked it up at Michaels, an Arts and Crafts store, for $7.99. I was told that its a new item for them. After doing a bit of research I see that they are selling it a few dollars cheaper than anywhere else. They also tend to have coupons in the Sunday paper for 40% off most items. It might be really easy to snag one of these, with a coupon, for next to nothing.

I also picked up 3 coffins from their Halloween village shelf. Everything was 40% off and I snagged them for $2.09. They work great in my dungeon as well. They are the perfect size.

for a long time i have wanted to add the dwarven forge treasure set to my MKD. i just missed the last production run of the item, before that i had no idea dwarven forge existed. so i tried my best to track one down, but this out of print set was always selling for more than $100. i finally settled on paying $100 for it, and saved up the money over a year so it ended up feeling like i had the money all along. i checked high and low for a set and could never find one. i finally saw a new listing on ebay but the guy wanted well over $200 and would not budge on the price. one night while looking at photos of the ebay listing and longing to own it, i decided to do some random google searches. wouldn't you know it, i stumbled across a site in canada who claimed to have the item in stock.

i contacted the site via their question section and received a response from the owner. he let me know that their inventory showed that they had 1 in stock. the price was $55.95 CAD not including shipping. With shipping i ended up paying just over $75 (after the exchange rate was applied).

two tense weeks later the site arrived in the mail. i can't speak highly enough about the dwarven forge expansion miniatures. they are well designed, crafted, and painted. my only complaint is that the tiny shield is missing 1 of its yellow gems, but that isn't really an issue i'm concerned with.

the set i received is on a purple felt-sprayed tray. the sets that go on ebay are on an orange tray. i'm wondering if my set is an earlier run of the product or if the color of the tray has nothing to do with it? if anyone happens to know the answer, please let me know.

some of the grendel sets look really nice. i was wondering how they fit with mageknight figures, especially the size and the 1.5 inch base.

i was also wondering what the quality of the grendel casts are? i have 1 dungeon accessory set from dwarven forge and i really love the quality. is the grendel stuff similiar? is it fragile?

I had asked you if you could include the Holiday figures into the MKD rules. I said that I would provide scans and information. Between then and now I have had an uphill ride through life. I’m sorry that it has taken me so long to provide these scans! I hope you are still interested in doing this.

could we consider a subsection for making trades? perhaps users would need a certain post count to make use of the area. i'm also trying to think up a way to rate trades, sort of like ebay feedback. perhaps if the board can't be modded to include some type of rating script, we could just type up honest reviews of how the trade went.

i've been looking for a place to make some trades for some of the LE figs that I need. I seem to only have dragon's gate figs left for trading. If perhaps this is not the right place for this, can someone point me to an area of the web where I might be able to make some honest trades?

i just picked up 2 of the dragons (shadow and venomous) which are shipping w/o a box and the instruction sheets. i have the instructions from the radiant light dragon. i'm curious if there is a difference in anyway between the different dragons besides the point values on the bottom. if so does anyone have copies of the dragon rules they can share?

MK Minions are part of MK 2.0?

I'm curious because they look like a great way to add magespawn to the MKD game. If they are 2.0 what has changed what would cause complications while trying to implement them? Are the SA different?
